HOLY CROSS HOSPITAL – CALGARY, ALBERTA

The landscape architects worked with architects Cohos Evamy Partners of Calgary, Alberta to prepare a master plan for redevelopment of this aging inner-city hospital campus. The project involved retrofitting hospital and grounds as the primary geriatric facility for southern Alberta. The landscape development included creation of appropriate outdoor people spaces, enhancement of parking lots and the interface with surrounding neighborhoods and with the adjoining Elbow River walking path. Jim Patterson was Principal in Charge and landscape architect for this work in 1993 at Matrix Landscape Architecture.
