Creekwood Park, originally
developed about 1980, received a major re-design
in 1998. White Oak Studio led a team of
landscape architects, architects and engineers
for the renovation. Analysis of existing
use patterns and vandalism led to changing
primary circulation through the park. Major
components include a new picnic pavilion,
boardwalk, swimming pool entry, drop-off
plaza and fencing, playground and extensive
site work to more fully integrate the existing
lake with recreational use of the park.
Construction costs for the renovation totaled
about $550,000. |
