White Oak Studio is called upon to assist cities or civic organizations address urban centers that have lost their vital role as the center of commercial, business and civic life in a community. We develop for each project a process that includes civic and business leaders, city staff and the public at large to understand the problems and unique opportunities inherent in their community. Those unique circumstances become the basis for urban design that reflects the local heritage, values and vision.
